The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education conducts the HSC and SSC Examinations in the state of Maharashtra through its nine Divisional Boards located at Pune, Aurangabad, Nasik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Ratnagiri, Mumbai, Latur, and Nagpur. (MSBSHSE) is planning to conduct Maharashtra 10th exams 2022 in February/March next year.
The exams will be held in offline mode. Students must go through the updated Mah SSC syllabus and exam pattern 2022. The board has decided to follow the 25 percent reduced Maharashtra 10th Syllabus this year too, which was done last year.

The Board had released the criteria for evaluation of Class 10 students of the state. According to it, a maximum of 100 marks were awarded for each subject depending on the following criteria:

- Internal marks based on the performance of the academic year – 30%
- Homework/Orals/Practical based evaluation – 20%
- Marks scored in Class 9 – 50%
