Dear Reader, here we are providing you the Maha Tet Question Paper PDF so that you can prepare in a better way. The candidates who are going to apply Teacher Eligibility Test(TET) of Maharashtra should carefully read the Eligibility criteria for TET and then apply for the same.

  • There is no maximum age limit for the candidates to apply or appear for the MAHA TET(Teacher Eligibility Test).
  • The candidates are required to check the minimum educational qualification. The minimum academic qualification for TET (Primary) is passing the class 12th examination from a recognized board. While the basic academic qualification for TET(secondary) is passing a degree program from a recognized University or college.
  • The candidate must have the permanent domicile of Maharashtra state.

The Qualified candidates will be awarded with  a TET Certificate by the council. Now the Council has announced the validity of Maha TET for Lifetime.

MAHA TET Eligibility Criteria 2021: Important Details
Educational Qualification Class 1 to 5(Primary) – The candidate must have passed the Intermediate exam with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
Class 6 to 8 (Secondary) – The candidate must have passed a 2-year Diploma course in Primary education from a recognised university.
 
Age Limit		  
There is no age limit as prescribed by the board for the candidates regarding appearing in the TET.

Nationality Indian
Number of Attempts As long as candidates satisfy all the eligibility criteria
Important Points
  • The candidates applying for the TET(Primary) are required to complete a two-year Diploma in Education(D.E.TD)
  • The candidate may take up the MAHA TET exam more than once if he is not satisfied with his score.
  • The Council has increased the validity of the TET certificate from 7 years to a lifetime.
