The 24th ‘Hunar Haat’ is being organized with the theme ‘Vocal for Local’ at Avadh Shilpgram, Lucknow (UP) from 22 January to 04 February 2021. About 500 skilled artisans, masters are joining along with indigenous products of artisans, craftsmen from 31 states/union territories of the country.
Indigenous goods are promoted in Hunar Haat. Hunar means skilled in art and Haat means market. Hunar Haat means to provide a market to the artisans or masters and their products who are proficient in any art. The same happens in Hunar Haat. Different skilled people participate in this haat with their products. It is a kind of fair where people go for a walk and buy the goods which they like.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has inaugurated the UP Hunar Haat/Lucknow Hunar Haat on 11th January 2020. In the Hunar Haat scheme, the state government will provide adequate market exposure and employment opportunities to the local artisans and craftsmen.
