- লক্ষ্মী পূজার শুভ মুহূর্ত শুরু হয় সন্ধ্যা থেকে।
- নতুন কাঠের ফাঁড়ি, সিংহাসনে নতুন লাল কাপড় বিছিয়ে শ্রী লক্ষ্মী শ্রী
- গণেশের মূর্তি রাখতে হবে। এর পরে শ্রী লক্ষ্মীকে শ্রী গণেশের ডানদিকে থাকতে হবে।
- শ্রী লক্ষ্মীজী ও গণেশজীর মূর্তির সামনে ধানের শীষের উপরে জল, অক্ষত, দূর্বা, সুপারি, মণি ও রৌপ্যমুদ্রা ভরা একটি কলশ রাখতে হয়।
- তারপর কলশের উপর সিঁদুর বা রোলি দিয়ে স্বস্তিকা তৈরি করুন। কলশের উপর চাল ভর্তি একটি পাত্র রাখুন এবং নারকেলটি লাল কাপড়ে মোড়ানো বা 11 বার নারকেলটি মুড়ে দিন।
- এর পরে, চাল, ধূপ, ফুল এবং একটি অবারিত প্রদীপ জ্বালান।
