इस पाठ में जो चार पद हैं, वे सूरदास जी द्वारा रचित सूरसागर के भ्रमरगीत से लिए गए हैं। प्रस्तुत पदों में सूरदास जी ने गोपियों एवं उद्धव के बीच हुए वार्तालाप का वर्णन किया है। जब श्री कृष्ण मथुरा वापस नहीं आते और उद्धव के द्वारा मथुरा यह संदेश भेजा देते हैं कि वह वापस नहीं आ पाएंगे, तो उद्धव अपनी राजनीतिक चतुराई से गोपियों को समझाने का प्रयास करते हैं। लेकिन उनके सारे प्रयास विफल हो जाते हैं क्योंकि गोपिया ज्ञान-मार्ग के बजाय प्रेम-मार्ग में विश्वास करती हैं और अपनी चतुराई के कारण उद्धव को गोपियों के ताने सुनने पड़ते हैं एवं उनके व्यंग का शिकार होना पड़ता है।
The four verses in this test are taken from Sursagar Bhramargeet, composed by Surdas ji. In the posts presented, Surdas ji has described the conversation between the gopis and Uddhav. When Shri Krishna does not return to Mathura and through Uddhav sends a message to Mathura that he will not be able to return, Uddhav tries to convince the gopis with his political cleverness. But all their efforts fail because Gopia believes in love-path rather than knowledge-path and due to her cleverness, Uddhav has to listen to the taunts of the gopis and fall prey to their sarcasm.
