The current chief justice of Bombay High Court is Dipankar Datta since 28 April 2020 and Sir Mathew Richard Sauces was the first Chief Justice of Bombay High Court. It was founded on 14 August 1862, in Mumbai. The court has a second and fourth Saturday and Sunday off. In addition to summer, Diwali, and Christmas holidays, they are given 18 government holidays.
